Americash was one of about five lenders who responded to my request to refinance. They did not have the best verbal rates/fees, so I said no thank you and moved on. I received an email from the manager of the agent I worked with 'guaranteeing' to beat anyone's rate by 1/8% and $650 on the fees. I contacted them and asked what I needed to qualify. They indicated I had to submit a Good Faith Estimate which as of 1/2010 is a standardized form to help consumers compare lenders. I submitted a GFE from another lender a day later and they refused to honor it saying it was too low. Their tactic is akin to bait and switch so beware of their promises and 'guarantees'. Get it on the GFE.
