I am waiting on a claim to be settled!!!
Right now I am waiting on a theft claim to be settled. Honestly, I have done all the leg work for the adjuster and I kept getting the run around regarding paperwork and receipts (that I don't have) photos of my items (that I don't have) who take pictures of the insider of their appliances or belongings. I was told by the adjuster that I am getting the 3rd degree because my claim is very high. I was never told to take pictures or provide receipts for the items that I owned when I agreed to the policy nor did I expect to get my apartment broken into. I am learning, not just from this site, that this company has very shady practices on how they pay out claims to their customers. I have only read a few good reviews that I don't believe were ever written by actual customers. I am awaiting the day to get notified by the carrier that my claim will be either denied/low balled severely/or will require more documentation in which at this point I am tired of dealing with this issue it is going on 2 months. I feel as though I will be filing a claim with the BBB/State Board of Insurance/Attorney General. I just don't feel this claim will turn out favorable at all especially since I have only read bad things when it comes to Century Nationals claim process.......
