Hyundai Motor Finance - Avoid at all costs - SAME ISSUE as others with End of Lease
And I thought I was the only one. Paid off a leased vehicle on May 21, 2021 and still have yet to receive the title. I've called almost every week since June 24th and each week there is a new wrinkle. I sent in the Odometer statement 4 times and they just got that straightened out in August. Next issue was the bill of sale that I asked for over a month ago and still have yet to receive. Customer serviice told me it will be sent in 3-days and when I escalated it, the supervisor said it would be at least 7 -10 days....TO SEND A FREAKIN EMAIL of the bill of sale. So, yes, I'm still waiting on all this to get resolved, meanwhile, my car is sitting idle because I have no title and can't get it registered 3 months later. Funny, Hyundai makes it very easy to finance a car. Wish that same level of service was there at the time of payoff. By the way, I tried to pay off the lease at the dealer and they couldn't accommodate, said I had to mail in a check. And then once I paid it off, I received mail saying that my lease was overdue and the car needed to be surrendered... WHAT A MESS. Never again
