My family and I are very upset about the services that we have been getting from this hospital since we checked my mother in for surgery. The nurses are rude and careless and they don't seem to have any sympathy for the patient. Our nightmare started shortly after she was out of surgery, she had been in her room for 50 minutes before the the patient next to my mom was nice enough to call us and tell us my was screaming in pain and that she was asking for us. We rushed to her room and found her covered in vomit and crying in pain, I ran down the lobby and found her nurse chatting with another nurse, with my moms pain medication in her hand, I was extremely upset and told her that she needed to go and give her the pain medicine, she started arguing with me and I had to tell her that she could do all the talking she wanted once my mom got her medication. That was only one of many incidents that happened through out her stay st this hospital, I have been to many hospitals and this is by far the worst experience ever. We thought that maybe it was just us being unhappy with this hospital, but quickly realized that other previous patients have had similar experiences. I cannot change the past and I cannot make our experience better but I am writing this complaint for all the other patients who have not yet been there, policies and procedures have to change or at least improve, otherwise people will die. Aside from this complaint I will also be writing to the Better Business Bureau and anyone else I need to in order to be heard.
