I contacted AdoptHelp almost five years ago when I discovered that I had an unplanned pregnancy. I have known my whole life that if this situation arose, I would want to do adoption. AdoptHelp was wonderful in that I was able to select the characteristics
of the adoptive family, was given some much-needed financial assistance, and generally felt supported and secure in the professional relationship that my case worker Kathryn W. had with me. The adoptive family was WONDERFUL and even flew out to see me, their
previously adopted 3 year old in tow. I am very happy that I was able to coordinate an open adoption, and AdoptHelp still facilitates my update requests to the adoptive family as my son approaches his fourth birthday. Giving a child up for adoption was very
difficult but AdoptHelp smoothed out the rough edges, and I couldn't ask for a better adoptive family for the child I carried.
