Deceptive and Dishonest
This review will be long, so first I'll sum it up by saying the salesmen at this company are deceptive liars. Read on if you want the full story. Patriot Imaging, another name for this company, sold me 2 sets of ink cartridges at a discounted price with a promise that I did not have to pay if I did not like them. I told the salesman I had just replaced the ones in the printer and didn't use that much ink, but he said that was not a problem. He failed to mention I only had 30 days to try the product, there would be a restocking fee if I returned them, and most importantly the price was based on purchasing 10 sets. Ninety days later the accounting department called asking about payment and I told them I still had not needed to use the ink. They said I had to pay. I told them to send me a shipping label to return them and that was when I was told about the restocking fee. They offered to give me a discount, I took it and paid the invoice. A few weeks later another salesman, I think his name was Rick, called and said as part of the original offer I would get a $25 gift card and he needed to verify my address. I verified all the information and he said I would get another call from shipping to verify. I thought it was odd but said okay. About an hour later a man from the shipping department called to verify my shipment of 8 sets of ink. Needless to say I was surprised and said I did not order any more ink. He seemed dumbfounded and said he would send a note to Rick. Rick called back the next day to ask what the problem was. I told him there was no mention of more ink and that I didn't want it. This was when I learned that the pricing I got was based on ordering 10 sets so I still needed to order the remaining 8. I told him this was never mentioned before and I would not place the order. After more talking and being on hold while he talked to his manager, Rick said they would cancel the order (worded as if they were doing me a great favor), remove my number from their calling list, and leave the pricing on file if I ever wanted to order more. I would have been fine if it had ended there but... Yesterday I got a call from a different salesmen who told me Rick had been sick and left the company. My order was showing as open and since he was taking over Rick's work he called to figure out what was happening. I think he was trying to get me to order more. I explained everything and, after first denying their records showed it, changed his story and said there was a note in the file that said management approved cancelling 6 sets and I just needed to order 2 more. He then told me that the note said Rick had tried to tell me but I hung up after being put on hold. I don't know which salesmen is the liar is this case. He then asked if I wanted the 2 sets. I flat out told him I would refuse any order they shipped and not pay any invoices. Then he asked if I just wanted to pay the restocking fee for the 2 remaining sets. Of course I said no and told him I was under no obligation to order or pay anything. Then he told me to have a nice day in a disrespectful tone and hung-up. Hopefully they realize they are not getting anything from me but we will see.
