Called Allen & Son Appliance to repair my gas dryer. The dryer did not heat. A teck came out on April 6, 2011, replaced the thermostat. Cost of thermostate $ 43.00 cost of labor $ 179.99. Two weeks later called again, the dryer was not getting as hot as in the past and now a rattling noise when the dryer is tumbling. A tech came out, said everything is fine. June 27th, the heat is not working and the rattling noise continues. The 3 months labor warranty period has expired and they want another $50.00 to come out and look at the dryer again!! Don't waste your time and money with this company!
