I HOPE THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN TO YOU After being a customer for over 6 years, I was a little surprised when, Kat, indicated to me that she was holding a box (from Dell) unless I paid her an extra fee because she considered the box oversize. She also indicated that the contract that I signed, several years ago, covered this particular subject. When I asked her to produce the contract, she indicated that she was unable to do so at that time because the office was undergoing renovation. After getting in my car and driving to the office, to retrieve my box, I was dumbfounded by Kat's idea of renovation. Seriously, have you observed this place... It is an absolute dump. Her idea of renovation consisted of having the neighborhood handyman install a book shelf and slap some red paint on the exterior bricks. After arguing with her for a few minutes about how long I have been a customer and not receiving notice of the extortion fee, she finally agreed and gave me my box. I immediately thanked her and left. More than two months later, she informs me that for the past two months she had been thinking about the incident and decided to put my mail on hold unless and until I paid the extra charge. I said to her, "Are you fucking kiddy me." I could not believe that this woman that I had been doing business with for over six years was now treating me like a "wet food stamp." I argued with this lady, I mean woman, for over an hour and a half and she still refused to release my mail. Finally, I decided to write her a check and note in the memo section that this check is being offered under protest. Once she read the pertinent part, she still refused to accept the check and give me my mail. I then walked out side and called the Police Department. Within minutes Officer V. Serrano arrived on the scene. I told the officer that I knew that this was a civil matter. However, I thought that after he spoke to her, she would be reasonable. To my surprise, this crazy ass woman, refused to comply with officer's suggestion to accept my check. He did indicate that she thought that I might stop payment on the check, at which point, I told him. "Why in the hell would I do that when my box fee is paid until March 2011. The last thing I want to do is have her hold my mail again." As the officer was writing his report, I went back into the office, I mean dump and informed her to expect a civil complaint.

On December 8, 2010, I sued American Post Box & Kat Barnum and, "WON."
I tried to settle with her ass on December 6, 2010, but she would not listen. Then she lied to the judge about placing my mail on hold. I guess she did not count on me producing the letter that she gave me, which clearly stated that as of October 12, 2010 we are placing your mail on hold.
Another one bites the dust.
