Earlier this year, in febuary, I took my car in because I had a problem with it. Everyone there was very polite. I was given a written estimate for a diagnosis, new fuel filter, and oil change. I also was given a discount rate on a rental car, which made me optimistic. However, my car was at their shop for six weeks. Three days into it being there, we told someone that worked there, we would be going out of town and needed an upgrade on our rental. They told us they would take care of the price of the rental. We ended up paying over 600 dollars for the Rental, they had covered only the discounted rate for the original rental we had, and not for the full time we had it. We were told it was one specific problem, then another. We were given an estimate of 980 dollars, which the Owner told us was a discounted rate for the work that was done. We were frustrated with the whole situation, but could understand that maybe our car was difficult to fix. So we were happy to just have it back and have it fixed. A red flag, when we were leaving, was that, one of the employees had lied to the owner and had said he had attempted to contact the rental car company that very moment, but he had not. I also want to note that I'm not sure if that employee no longer works there. Well, anyways about a month later, the car began to have that same problem. After that, the car continued to do stranger things and they were related to a part that was replaced. A friend had hooked a code reader up to the car and the codes were for the exact same problems that had been worked on. So I went online to check their website and it had said their work was guaranteed for 12000 miles or twelve months. So I gave them a call. I spoke with someone who was not around at the time of the original repair, but they informed me that I had only a 6 month warranty and that day was exactly 6 months. I was not aware of this. It could have been on the receipt, I'm not saying it wasn't, but I was not informed verbally. That was a monday and I brought my car in that friday. It was there for a week, and was worked on, it was tested, according to them. They also said that they had received technical advice over the phone, that it was a certain problem. They did not specify it was a certain dealership or anything they spoke to, but I did later contact a dealership and they said they do not give advice over the phone. When I picked up my car, they had said, that the car can no longer sit here for free. After that, for a little bit, the car was alright, but the check engine light was on and is still on. In fact, it is just as bad. I will not lie and say they were rude or anything, in fact they were really polite. I do not know if they are at fault or not, but I just needed to share my story. I feel extremely frustrated about my car. Positively, I would like to say again they were very polite and they also have very clean facilities. Thank You.
