I am trying to arrange a pre-need cremation plan for my mother. I called Cremation Society of Los Angeles to send information (since the website erroneously said that all pre-need forms could be downloaded from the website)on Feb 20. When I hadn't received the packet of information by Feb 26, I called again. When I hadn't received anything by March 3, I called again and spoke to the owner. Both times the post office was blamed for not delivering the mail properly (I have not had any problems revceiving any other mail recently) AND the owner was quite rude and nasty. I then arranged for the info to be dropped off personally at my house (they insisted on doing this after I requested it be sent by UPS) - of course, he never showed up. I WOULD NOT TRUST THEM TO TAKE CARE OF MY LOVED ONE if they cannot even take responsibility for mailing a simple package. Also, why would I want to deal with rude, nasty people --especially when I need them in at a time of great sadness in the future?
