Apparently this roofing company feels they are above courtesy. I called Cross based on a referral and was happy to receive an appointment for someone to come out and see my roof and provide an estimate for repairs. The day of my appointment, I LEFT WORK to wait at home for a contractor that never showed or bothered to call that they wouldn't be coming. I did try to call that evening, and the next day, but no one bothered to answer the phone or return a message. I doubt I will be contacted by them, but if someone does find the time to call, I will not consider this company for my roofing needs. If you can't show up for an appointment, don't bother to call, and ignore attempts from a potential client to contact you, I seriously doubt working with you would result in a positive experience. Please keep in mind, I work in outside sales in people's homes everyday. I keep my appointments with my clients, and I call even if I am going to be a few minutes late for an appointment. I could have been a source of referrals to this company. Now, I'll only encourage others to think twice before contacting them, if service is a concern. Given the high costs of roofing, it is reasonable to expect not just quality work, but quality service as well. I did add one star to my rating for this company, because they do have a clean BBB record.
