I had a similar experience to the other reviewers. I received a call from a man, claiming to be from my "usual" toner provider, and he explained that the price of my toner had increased and they had failed to notify us. Because of this, they were setting aside 6 boxes of toner at the lower price for us. I specifically asked the man on the phone if he was with Amcom, who is our supplier, and he replied that he was with IDC, which handles Amcom's notifications. At that time, he did not ask me for any contact information. I asked him for a phone number to reach him, because I was already feeling unsure about our conversation, and he replied that I could get the number from the top corner of the invoice, and he hung up. The nature of the call was suspiciously casual. He was acting very "routine", as if I should have experienced calls like this all the time. This was definitely a tactic... I contacted Amcom, who assured me that they had no connection to IDC, and that it was a scam. I then looked up IDC or IDCservco, and spoke with a manager there, hoping to cancel my order. The manager told me that no one by the name of the person I spoke to worked there, and asked that I let him know if I find out who I was actually talking to. Shortly after that I received a call from the Shipping department from Delray Supplies, confirming my order. I promptly cancelled my order, and expressed my disappointment in being misled. I then contacted IDC, notifying them that Delray supplies is using their name. I'm not sure where Delray supplies got my contact information, but you can be sure that I will be contacting them and removing my company from any lists they may have.
