I posted my resume on monster. I received an email and a call from them. I was then told I qualified for the insurance & finance manager position and that they were an agency. Needless to say that when I got to my interview I noticed there was a sign on the wall that said “school of automotive training” or something to that effect. That’s when I knew something was up but I decided to stay and from that moment I knew it would all be a sales pitch. They make it sound like you are so qualified and if you don’t call them back soon the slot will be filled. I felt like he was trying to sell me a car. He wasted 3 hours of my time. They really do try and pressure you into signing up. And they don’t guarantee you’ll get a job after signing up for their 5 week course which costs a ridiculous $14,000. They really are charging you the price of a car and think about how much commission they would of made on me! These guys are very deceptive! If there is no guarantee I would say $1500 is fair. Charles told me that if I didnt want the 5 week training course he would place me as a sales person in any of their various dealers. But get this even if you spend your $14K on this school and they get you a job it won’t be in a dealer or county of your choice but with whomever they have contracts or agreements with. Meaning you may live in Orange or LA County but end up in San Bernardino or a Victorville Hyundai. Forget about Fletcher Jones Mercedes think more like Hyundai of El Centro!!! No thanks!
