Review 12/30/2010
My experience is almost identical to A.A., Val. D, and Jennifer below. Without my knowledge, I was charged 14.95 for membership while I had already paid 24.99 for three-bureau credit score. I called their customer service number 888-397-3742 and was led through a labyrinth of dead end automated messages without the possibility of connecting with an agent (even despite pressing the zero button multiple times which usually works for other customer services). I called their HQ phone number 714-830-7000 and that finally led me to an agent who could verify the charge. As soon as I blasted that I planned to report this fraud to BBB, he promised to reverse the charge. I hope they will do it. My next move would be to write to my Congressional representatives to make a formal complaint. A BBB score of "F" (range A+ to F) for two out of the three main credit scoring corporations (Experian and TransUnion; found no score or negative report for Equifax on BBB's site) is both shameful and dangerous. If you have a way to see this movie (with a Netflix account or otherwise), please do so. The Corporation 2003 UR 145 minutes Filmmakers Mark Achbar and Jennifer Abbott explore the genesis of the American corporation, its global economic supremacy and its psychopathic leanings, with social critics like Noam Chomsky and Milton Friedman lending insight in this documentary. With their merciless quest for profit and insatiable aim to sway every aspect of culture, conglomerates' inner workings are scrutinized to draw conclusions about "business as usual." Cast: Mikela J. Mikael, Noam Chomsky, Michael Moore, Naomi Klein, Jane Akre, Vandana Shiva, Peter Drucker, Ray Anderson, Steve Wilson, Milton Friedman Director: Mark Achbar, Jennifer Abbott Genres: Documentary, Social & Cultural Documentaries This movie is: Cerebral, Controversial Format: DVD and streaming
