I had an incredibly poor experience with Inter Movers LLC during my recent move from USA to Canada. From start to finish, it was a confusing, frustrating, and disappointing process. The movers mishandled several of my belongings, causing damage to some of my boxes and items. They also lost the screws and parts for both my bed and work desk, which made the reassembly impossible and now both my furniture pieces are garbage! Then, they refused to help me in any way or try to compensate me for any loss!
In addition to these issues, the movers also tried to cheat me by asking for extra money despite being well under the space quote. This felt like a clear attempt to take advantage of the situation and get more money out of me. To make matters worse, they took a month to deliver my belongings when they promised a week initially while giving the quote. This delay caused significant inconvenience and stress, as I had to live without many of my essential items for an extended period.
To top it all off, the guy Michael Stein was extremely unprofessional, argumentative, and rude. Whenever I tried to contact him, he always had “reasons” for not being able to help or not wanting to help, in my honest opinion! It felt like he didn't care about my concerns or the problems I was facing. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with the level of service I received from Inter Movers LLC. I would strongly advise against using them for your move, as the mishandling of belongings, loss of parts, attempt to cheat me for extra money, delay in delivery, and poor customer service made the experience incredibly frustrating and disappointing.
The process was SO UNCLEAR and this has been the worst move of my life! I wish I had read the reviews on the internet more carefully and believed them. I will be reporting this business to the authorities, including the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and the Division of Consumer Affairs.
