I completed a shop for this company and was not paid. The shop requested I get sku numbers and I did not get the sku numbers, however, the scheduler sent me an email at 8:52a stating that I needed to get the sku numbers to her. I sent an email back at 10:16am stating I would get the sku numbers to her by 5pm. I got an email back from her at 11:21a stating they needed the sku numbers by 12pm. Had I known that I could have gotten the numbers to her immediately. She replied back 39 minutes before the deadline. I stated in my report that I forgot the sku numbers and she could have originally sent me an email stating that the shop would not be accepted due to no sku numbers. I would have been fine with that, but she offered a solution to obtain sku numbers and then decided not to pay me for the shop. Secondly, after escalating to her management team, she sends me an apology concerning her offer to get the sku numbers. Which denotes she did the wrong thing. However, they got valuable information concerning their clients store. But they dont want to pay for it. The have a system that makes people wait for their money 30-60 days out and they are getting paid. I know their accounting system is better than 30-60 days out. In addition, they have a clause stating they will not pay if the shop is not complete correctly. However, people are spending their time gathering information for those companies. They dont work for free and nor should their shoppers. If the information is used in any capacity, I want to be compensated for my work. I am not responsible for harassers that try to keep people from working and should not be punished for their wrong doing. Then the company chose to deactivate my account because I expressed my anger concerning their non-payment of work completed.
