UPS and others should cease to do business with this store
|
I paid a fortune to have something overnighted to this store. After asking the store representative how to have it labeled, and informing them it would arrive the next day, I had the shipper label it to me, c/o this store, all appropriately. I was visiting L.A. and really needed the shipment.
When I arrived in Los Angeles, the store had closed. So I tried the next day to pick up my package, and, contrary to normal business hours, they were again closed. I had to leave Los Angeles without the package, and then, when I called the store rep (Chang), she said she was too busy to talk to me, could I call back. When I called back, all were gone. So I called again the next day, at which point she said I should send a fax, including shipping/tracking info. my info., and what I'd like to do and how I'd like to pay to have package resent.
I went to the trouble of creating the letter, and going to fax it. When I tried to follow up, the store was again closed for holidays. Finally, when I called, Chang said--contrary to what we had discussed and to my directives as written in the fax I'd sent (in which I listed 2 other options, and willingness to pay for them), they had, without calling me, and according to what Chang has wanted to do all along, returned the package to the sender to whom I'd originally paid an exorbitant fee to have the package sent express more than a week prior. Now the package is lost in transit back to the original sender, and even if I ever retrieve it, it will be too late to be of any use. These people don't want to do the work they are charged with, or provide the services they claim to offer--services that are very important ones. They should lose their license, and more immediately, UPS should quit doing business with them, as should anyone else.
(The only reason any star shows is that, apparently one star is the lowest rating available here.)
