I only wish that you had zero stars to place a check mark. I purchased my 37" LCD from Sears on 5-20-07 and it started giving trouble in November 2007. Numerous calls were made to the kind friendly staff only to get crap information that did not work. I asked and begged to return this TV then. They would not offer that option and said that a supervisor would call me back. I am still waiting for that call.

The static got better til May 30, 2008. I called on 6-02-08 and they said call back tomorrow and speak with the senior supervisor. You could only guess what I said about the senior supervisor and calling back.

Today 6-03-08, I talked to another knuckle head and he told me that the warranty had expired and there was nothing he could do.

I am surprised to have read as many bad reviews on this company as I have this afternoon. I can't believe that Sears ever dealt with such a bunch of low life's as Protron is. I'm guessing that Sears probably does not sell the Protron brand anymore. I send something similar as this email to Sears. Good luck to all of us suckers that have bought the Protron Brand of crap TV's.

I now understand why they did not offer to accept return of the TV. It would appear from other post that if you do make the return, you will not hear anything for months. Then they would have to deal with even more phone calls from disgruntled owners.
