Be aware doing business with this company. I know it's been awhile but in 1998 they contacted me to purchase a golf club from them. I said okay and they charged my charge card. A month after not receiving the club I contacted them again and they gave me some excuse and said the club was on the way. Another month later I contacted them again about the club and they finally sent me a club. Not the club that I had purchased. I sent back the club (paid it myself) and still no response I contacted them again. Though they said they would credit my charge card they didn't and kept delaying and finally when I tried to back out my charges I was unable.
I filed a report with the california attorney general and with the bbb at that time. Scottland golf did send me a check to reimburse me for my $255 but when I cashed it, the check bounced. When the attorney general checked on the company it had apparently had folded, no phone number, no address.
It apparently was a boiler room type of operation, scamming customers for products they never had any intention of sending.
I was surprised to find that this company is back in business again, with the exact same name, address and phone number.
I just wanted everyone who wants to do business with this company to be aware. If they are having problems with the company they should get their charge card credited asap and check with the bbb and state attorney general if they encounter any problems getting their money back.
I will keep commenting on this company until they pay me back the money they owe me.
