I bought a 2005 Ford Mustang V6 on March 05th 2008 from Valley Hi Nissan and they added a new car (5 YR. Quality Guard Plus Deluxe) protection plan when I bought it. I had a couple of problems with the company, the first time, when my car alarm that they installed didn't work and someone broke my window, the next time when my speedometer broke the sidelight stopped working and they wanted to charge a deductible, which i was later okay with. Then comes the next two and biggest issues. On February 2010, I had taken the car in for a repair when a friend of mine told me that my car had a serious issue with the coolant getting mixed with the oil. Okay, so I took it to the dealer and they charged me 100 dollar deductible and said they fixed the issue by sending the car to the nearest Ford Dealer, and flushing and refilling the coolant. Okay my car was fine for a bit and then on July 15th I took the car for repair for the same issue. They noticed that my car had a big problem and they didnt want to deal with the problem, so they sent it to Sunland Ford. Then I go to Sunland Ford and the service Advisor Debbie Pratt ignored and then helped us with a huge attitude. I didnt mind that in the beginning, i just wanted my car fixed until she called the warranty company stating that I had mixed the oil with the coolant and made the warranty company not issue me the repair and made me un-eligible for a free car rental. I got so mad because I actually took the car to a firestone and goodyear repair shop and they both said that it happens to most mustangs. That it happens when the Head Gasket breaks and I need to pay 1000 dollars to fix. Okay, My problem is still unresolved and the dealers Nissan and Ford and the warranty company keep telling me that its not their fault.

This vehicle was bought by the customer at Valley Hi Nissan and when they bought it they purchased an aftermarket USED vehicle warranty. It was brought to us by Valley hi Nissan, not the customer, to have the cooling system checked. We looked at the condition of the coolant in the motor by removing the radiator cap. It was clear and clean. We also checked the motor oil and found no sign of contamination. However when we looked at the overflow bottle we found that the coolant was contaminated with oil as if someone had poured oil in to the overflow instead of the motor oil fill. We called the warranty company to inform them what we had found and Brian denied the claim. The customer makes it sound as if we did this to be mean...no, we did this to report the condition we found. We were just being truthful. The Nissan dealer, Valley Hi, never sent us the car prior to this to flush the coolant. If they told the customer this then they need to contact the selling dealer Valley Hi to verify this. The Mustangs have no history of head gasket failures above any other model. The way to be sure is to perform a block check which runs appx. $98.00 plus $10 for testing fluid. The Valley Hi Nissan Co will not authorize this and we can not get the customer to authorize this either. I do not understand how this garners us a bad review. We are willing to help the customer resolve this issue if they want to pay for the vehicle to be tested. We talked to Mundo at Valley hi Nissan who was not interested in paying for the rental they wanted, the repairs or check out they requested and has not responded to the customer inquiries. If the customer would like a clarification please have them call our service manager to receive a more detailed explanation.
