A few months ago, I began a search for a company that could refinance my home with an interest rate comparable to those I had been hearing about on T.V. I initially went with the same company who currently held my mortgage, being told that I could lock in to a great interest rate in a timely fashion. However, when it came time to sign the preliminary documents, I could see that this would not be the case. The interest rate had been hiked up 5 points higher than what I had been told, and the points and fees were also inflated.
At this point, I went online and filled out some info, just to see what else was out there, and within 24 hours, my phone was ringing off the hook. One such call came from Nick Gouche of Vault Mortgage, who was persistent, but not overbearing. Even though he said he could offer me a better deal, I was dubious because, after all, I had been with my “mother” company for more than fifteen years and felt that I owed them my loyalty. He eventually convinced me to give his company a chance to provide us with a package that would not only give me a lower interest rate, but would leave me with a bigger bundle in my pocket at the end of the deal. Both he and his co-worker, Richmond Koduo, promised that if they could not produce, we would not charge for anything. Not only did they live up to ALL of their promises, but the service they provided to me and my husband was superb.
From the inception of the loan to its birth, Nick kept me abreast of everything that was happening. Along the way, we ran into a few snags, but Nick quickly dealt with these challenges which took the pressure off of me. He made it easy for me to sign documents by sending his staff to me at my convenience, and even helped us to prepare our house for inspection. Even after the loan was finished, he sought to help me make an additional change which I felt would benefit me.
Both Nick and Richmond came across right from the very beginning as being trustworthy, honest, and hardworking go-getters, and every action throughout the entire process proved the truth of this statement. I would surely recommend both of these guys to anyone who is seeking to refinance their home. I doubt that there could be anybody out there who could do the job better or more efficiently than this duo.
