The actual shipping company was fantastic and had I known, I would have contacted them directly. But as a first time transportor, I contacted this broker, Your Choice, first accidently. First of all, they low-balled the price. I should have been suspicious because it was the lowest, but due to a military move and on a tight timeline, we took it and paid a $300 deposit. 2 days later and only two weeks before our move, they DOUBLED the price and stated it was the "driver requiring more money due to the gas crisis". Due to our timeline with the military, we had no choice at this point since the other competitors had increased at this point. After pushback, they promised a $500 gas voucher. The actual transport company was great and timely and they had no idea what this broker was doing. I received documentation proving that they lied and never even spoke to a driver. I have tried to contact them for almost 5 months now for the infamous gas voucher and can never get a hold of them. I also submitted a BBB complaint and they never responded. Word to the wise, do not go through a broker.....go directly to a shipping company.
